DeJuan S. Jordan LOGO REVEAL

“Good,  better, best, never let it rest, until your good is better and your better is best!” -St. Jerome

Every grandchild of Lillian H. Smith can recite this poem to this very day. My Nana, as I affectionately called her, was a smart, kind and educated woman. The impact that she had on my life and the lives of her family, students, church members, and every person that she touched throughout her lifetime is immeasurable. My Nana pushed me to be great and I am forever grateful. She was always so proud of my accomplishments, no matter how small. Whether it was bragging to her friends, sending a press release to the newspaper even if it was never published (yes, I’m so serious), or having a poem that I wrote laminated and displayed for all the world to see, my Nana made me want to be GREAT and do my BEST!

My grandmother was a great school teacher.

That is why when I decided to start my business, I decided not only to take and apply the wisdom and lessons that she has given me but to also apply a piece of her to my business and revealed through my logo. My grandmother had the most beautiful handwriting and was one of the only people I knew who could write in calligraphy. So in honor of my grandmother and with the help of Gabrielle, owner of Blades Creative, I had My Nana’s handwriting digitized to create my logo. Thank you to LAUNCH and LAUNCH PAD CHAT for such an incredible gift and to Gabrielle, owner of Blades Creative for helping to turn my ideas and heart’s desire into reality.

My Dearest Nana,

Although you will ALWAYS HAVE A PLACE IN MY HEART, NOW YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE

A PLACE IN MY BUSINESS. I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER & ALWAYS, and I won’t stop until my good is better and my better is BEST!

Love, DeJuan S. Jordan (Granddaughter)

So it is with great excitement that I reveal to the world my DeJuan S. Jordan business logos….
